Value-For Money Chinese Buffet in Alabang: Phoenix Court

Source

Yesterday, my family and   guests  had a memorable lunch at  Phoenix Court, Bellevue Hotel in Alabang.

Our reason for celebrating-- my eldest daughter received the Sacrament of Confirmation at St. James the Great Parish Church in
Ayala Alabang,  which was officiated by Bishop Jesse E. Mercado, D.D.

My wife Maita and I chose Phoenix Court, the Chinese restaurant situated on the second floor of Bellevue because we knew it would not disappoint.   It offers  two types of buffet-- either an all-course or dimsum buffet.

The all-course buffet includes selections of soup, dimsum,  entrees,  noodles  rice and desserts.    While dimsum  buffet comes  only with   rice, noodles and desserts.

In the all-course buffet, one can choose  any dish in the specially prepared menu.   All  dishes are cooked fresh per order.  My guests specifically like the sweet and sour lapu-lapu,  garlic shrimps, beef tenderloin with XO  and black pepper sauce.  And I should mention the  shrimp dumplings that   were big and  filling.

Dessert selection includes mango sago and sesame balls-- which turned out to be a surprise, we ordered at  least 20 balls for our table.  The  serving portions at Phoenix Court are generous, so one should take it easy when ordering.  It has a no left over policy.

Given its  rave-worthy dishes, the luxurious setting and great service-- Phoenix Court makes it to my list of value-for-money venues for family celebrations.
